Mathias Gronberg became the 12th first-time winner of the season.  The leader after 54 holes, Gronberg held off his challengers with five birdies, despite dropped shots at the fourth and 12th.  Michael Jonzon had four birdies in an outward 33, but retreated after a double bogey at the 11th.  Barry Lane came from seven back with an outward 31, a birdie at the 11th, and eagle at the 15th and another birdie at the 17th to catch Gronberg, but three putted the last.  Costantino Rocca had three birdies and an eagle in an outward 32, and closed to within one with further birdies at the 15th and 16th.  Gronberg, however, chipped close for a birdie at the 15th and parred in for victory.
