Defending champion Colin Montgomerie played some of the best golf of his career in shattering the Druids Glen course record with a last round of 62 to win by seven strokes from Lee Westwood and by nine from Nick Faldo in front of a record Sunday afternoon crowd estimated at 35,000.  Montgomerie had eight birdies and an eagle in his round and said: "I didn't think a 62 was possible on this course and obviously that ranks as one of my best rounds."
