Westwood Defends TNT Dutch Open Title
The TNT Dutch Open returns to Noordwijkse for the first time since 1993 with Lee Westwood defending the title. Twelve months ago Westwood, the winner of three of his last seven events, shot a course-record equalling 63 in the final round at Hilversumsche to claim the title ahead of Scotland's Gary Orr.

PAST CHAMPIONS TO THE FORE IN HOLLAND
Lee Westwood and Stephen Leaney, winners of the last two TNT Dutch Opens, showed that a change of venue from Hilversum to Noordwijk hadn’t dulled their appetite for success in Holland as they soared to the top of the leader board after the first round. Leaney and Sweden's Richard Johnson shot 66, six under par, to be one ahead of a group containing Westwood and 1988 winner Mark Mouland.

ALLAN LEADS BY ONE SHOT IN HOLLAND
Australian Stephen Allan, whose only previous victory came in the German Open two years ago, stepped up his bid for a second European Tour title by firing a second round 67 to take the halfway lead in the TNT Dutch Open with a nine under par total of 135. Allan holds a one stroke advantage over his fellow countryman Stephen Leaney, a pair of Swedes - Richard Johnson and Mathias Grönberg - and Argentinian Eduardo Romero.

LEANEY GOING FOR DUTCH DOUBLE AT NOORDWIJKSE
Two golfers from Down Under were up on top of the leaderboard in the TNT Dutch Open at Noordwijkse Golf Club as Stephen Leaney and Stephen Allan occupied the leading places after the third round. Leaney, the 1998 champion, stepped up his bid for a double Dutch with a seven under par 65 for a total of 201, 15 under par, to lead Allan by three strokes going into the final day.

LEANEY CAPTURES TNT DUTCH OPEN FOR SECOND TIME
Stephen Leaney produced a ruthless front-running performance to capture his third European Tour title when he won the TNT Dutch Open for the second time in three years with a 19 under par total of 269 at Noordwijkse Golf Club. The 30 year old Australian with the calm demeanor and the ubiquitous wrap-around sunglasses shot a final round of 68 to finish four ahead of Bernhard Langer.
