The Ta Shee Resort is in an elegant country retreat set in the hills above Taipei in the Tao Yuan province, an area well known for its picturesque Chinese temples and unique small towns. The resort is convenient to both Taipei and the international airport, both of which are a 45-minute drive from Ta Shee. Travellers to Taiwan for the BMW Asian Open should arrange accommodation in any one of the many fine hotels in Taipei and travel to the course daily.

Ta Shee Golf & Country Club is built into the gentle slope of a dramatic wooded mountain back-drop and features three nine-hole layouts spread over an expansive 102 hectares of gently rolling land. The BMW Asian Open will be played over the Championship Course incorporating the Kingfisher and Egret nines, totalling 7,104 yards with a par of 72. Built in 1994, the golf course has recently undergone a complete facelift and is expected to be as testing to the players as it is beautiful to the eye.
