Quite wide but tree-lined. The course is playing short due to no rain for over 1 month. Fairways are cut at 11mm.
Secondary Rough: 90mm
Due to the spell without rain the rough is not as punishing as it normally is as the irrigation system does not reach the rough areas.
Greens are only cut once a day due to the heavy slopes on greens 8 & 15.
Saint-Nom-La-Breteche is a tree lined course where water hazards come into play on holes 5,7,9 and 18, which is the feature hole, a par 3 of 210 with bunkers on the left and a water hazard next to the green on the right.
Due to the long dry period the old constructed greens are as firm as they have ever been. However, the weather forecast is for some showery rain late Wednesday, early Thursday, then dry and sunny but cold.
