At this year's BMW International Open, spectators can not only look forward to experiencing first class golf, but they can also make use of a technical innovation being made available at the Munich North-Eichenried golf club. The tournament will be offering a PDA special.
BMW International Open – three words that symbolise golf at the highest level. This has been the case in the past and it promises to be the same again at this year's tournament being played from August 28th to 31st.
Björn Seeks Title Hat-Trick in Munich
Thomas Björn returns to Golfclub Munchen Nord-Eichenreid this week attempting to become the first player in the 15 year history of the BMW International Open to successfully defend title and also win the event three times, but he will first have to overcome a world class field that includes the current leader of the Volvo Order of Merit and World Number Two, Ernie Els.

The fairways have been groomed, the greens watered, the scoreboards erected - everything is set for the BMW International Open 2003 to begin.
From Thursday, 155 golf stars from all four corners of the globe will be competing against defending champion Thomas Bjorn to become the 2003 BMW International Open Champion. World No.2 Ernie Els will be leading the challengers doing their best to prevent the Dane from winning his third title on the par-72 course in Munich North-Eichenried.
Jacquelin Equals Course Record as Björn leads Chase
Defending champion Thomas Björn once again showed his liking for the BMW International Open, picking up eight birdies in an exhilarating last ten holes at GolfClub München Nord-Eichenried for a 64 but that was still not enough to lead as Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin raced clear with a course record equalling 62, ten under par.
