Blistering finish sees McGrane flying high in The KLM Open
(Reuters) - Former club professional Damien McGrane's blistering finish at Kennemer Golf and Country Club left the Irishman three strokes ahead of the field at the end of the third round of the weather-disrupted KLM Open. McGrane, who only began his European Tour career three years ago after working in a Wexford club shop for years, made a huge advance on his maiden title by scattering the field with four closing birdies in a seven under par 64 which hauled him to pole position on 12 under par 201.

Hansen and Cévaër share the lead in The KLM Open

Hansen and Cévaër share the early lead in The KLM Open
(Reuters) - Denmark's Anders Hansen battled against a strong wind and a stiff neck to take an early share of the lead in The KLM Open with a six under par 65 at the Kennemer Golf & Country Club. Without the advantage of a practice round, Hansen relied on a new set of clubs and a hot putter to share the lead with France’s Christian Cévaër.
