Jeev Milkha Singh moved into the lead during the first round of the World Golf Championships - CA Championship at Doral as The European Tour Members again formed a strong challenge.

With Geoff Ogilvy beating Paul Casey and Ross Fisher to the World Golf Championships - Accenture Match Play title in Arizona two weeks ago European Tour Members are in good form and another strong contingent were making their mark on the leaderboard in Florida.

India’s Singh reached seven under par through 14 holes to take a one shot lead over South African Retief Goosen, who had played 11.

Goosen’s compatriot James Kingston was in a three way tie for third with American duo Nick Watney and Sean O’Hair at five under on the famous par 72, 7,266 yard Blue Monster course.

Henrik Stenson and Oliver Wilson were in the group at four under in this 80 man, no cut tournament, with Lee Westwood, Camilo Villegas, Louis Oosthuizen, Rod Pampling, Padraig Harrington, Garth Mulroy, Rory McIlroy and Miguel Angel Jiménez amongst those a shot further back.
