The BMW PGA Championship welcomed some special guests this week in the guise of a group of Special Olympic athletes.

The quintet arrived in style in a fleet of BMW Courtesy Cars before touring Wentworth Club, the Television Compound, the Driving Range, the Tented Village and the Media Centre. They then met Special Olympics ambassador Padraig Harrington before enjoying tea in the Hospitality Unit with European Tour Chief Executive George O’Grady.

Alan Booth (left), Hilary Thomas (second left), Georgina Harris (third from right), Karen Oosthuizen (second from right) and Scott Hastings (far right) were also treated to a putting lessonby three-time Major Champion Harrington.
