The field for the tournament will be 156 players:
(a) 30 members from the Asian Tour as follows:
(i) Winners of the Asian Tour Order of Merit 2005- 2009.
(ii) Multiple tournament winners of official Asian Tour events in 2007-2010 inclusive.
(iii) Winners of the 20*official Asian Tour events preceding the 2010 Omega European Masters. (*If any of these winners are not Asian Tour members and therefore ineligible or are otherwise exempt in (i) or (ii) above then this number will be increased accordingly.
(iv) The balance of 30 places to be allocated in ranking order to the leading available players within the Top 65 only of the 2009 Asian Tour Final Order Of Merit.
(b) 10 Sponsor/Promoter invites.
(c) A maximum of 6 amateurs.
(d) The balance of the field will be completed in accordance with The 2010 European Tour Exemption Category List (excluding Category 5).
NB. Asian players who are members of and exempt through both tours will be entered through (a) above. Players from outside Asia who are members of and exempt through both Tours will be entered through (c) above.
