Any specific comments - since the last KLM Open played at Hilversumsche GC in 2005 the course has been redesigned by Kyle Phillips and there are five new greens: 1st, 3rd, 14th, 15th and 18th

Any specific comments - rough is not too penal due to lack of growth

Weather in advance - extremely wet the last 2 weeks with an excess of 200mm of rain

Course
Opened - 1910
Course designer - Hilversumsche Golf Club started in 1910 so this year is the Club’s Centenary. The 1st 9 holes (tournament holes 1,2 & 13-18) were designed by Henry Burrows and opened in 1922. The next 9 holes (tournament holes 3-12) were designed by H.S.Colt and opened 1928. The course then underwent considerable alterations in 1954 & 1964 and has been revamped by Kyle Phillips in 2008/2009. Kyle Phillips' alterations include new greens on holes 1, 3, 14, 15 & 18, new back tees on holes 1, 9, 13 & 14 and new fairway bunkers on holes 16 & 17.
