– The position of Charl Schwartzel who goes to Number One in The Race to Dubai with earnings of €374,850.

23 – The position Schwartzel  moves to in the Official World Golf Ranking, a jump of nine places.

2– The second consecutive victory by Schwartzel in the Joburg Open. Also the second player to successfully defend a title on the 2011 European Tour International Schedule, following Pablo Martin at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

3- Becomes the third South African to successfully defend a European Tour title, following Ernie Els (2002-2003-2004 Heineken Classic) and Trevor Immelman (2003-2004 South African Open Championship).

30 – Schwartzel became the 30th different player in European Tour history to successfully defend a European Tour title.

4 – The number of European Tour wins in South Africa by Schwartzel.

42 – The total number under par in winning the 2010 and 2011 Joburg Open.

20 – Every round he has played in the Joburg Open since the event began in 2007 (has played all five years) has been at par or better.

29 – The lowest nine holes recorded in the 2011 event by Alex Noren (West Course) and Neil Schietekat (East Course).

61 – The lowest round of the 211 tournament by Schwartzel over the West Course.

7 – The number of South African players to finish  in the top ten.
