Louis Oosthuizen continued to hold the narrowest of leads as the third round of the Maybank Malaysian Open was completed.

Last week’s Masters Tournament runner-up had one bogey and a birdie at the 16th over his remaining eight holes to stay one ahead of Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher ahead of the final round.

The 37 year old Gallacher mixed two birdies and two bogeys over his remaining seven holes, a disappointing dropped shot at the penultimate hole dropping him to 12 under and out of a share of the lead.

With time lost to lightning on days two and three, the final round was underway immediately.

England’s Danny Willett and Spain’s Rafael Cabrera-Bello both enjoyed early birdies to move into a share of second with Gallacher.

There was then two shots back to the chasing pack on ten under, which consisted of Argentine Ricardo Gonzalez, American David Lipsky and Indian pair Jyoti Randhawa and Jeev Milkha Singh.
