A birdie at the second saw Ross Fisher move into a share of the lead with Thongchai Jaidee at the start of the ISPS Handa Wales Open final round.

The Englishman, playing at The Celtic Manor Resort venue where he made his Ryder Cup debut two years ago, was one under through three to join overnight leader Jaidee on seven under.

The Thai golfer, looking to win his first European Tour title outside of Asia, parred the first three.

Dutchman Joost Luiten also broke even over the opening stretch to sit one back on six under, with his compatriot Tim Sluiter fourth on five under.
