Fabrizio Zanotti turned in a two under par 34 to move into a solo lead at the BMW International Open.
Joint-leader with Marcus Fraser overnight – the Australian was amongst the afternoon starters – Zanotti birdied the first, third and ninth with his only bogey of the second morning coming at the fourth.
At ten under for the week he was one clear of England’s Chris Wood, who like the Paraguayan is seeking a maiden European Tour victory.
The pair have five runner-up finishes between them, and Wood was also two under for the day after six holes.
Fraser was alone in third, with Dutchman Joost Luiten, England’s Danny Willett and Swede Oskar Floren on seven under.
