Weather in advance - Mixed summer. Some heavy rain interspersed with dry periods.
Forecast for tournament - Dry with temperatures in the mid to high 20s. Thunderstorm possible on Sunday.

Course
Opened - 1910
Course designer - Hilversumsche Golf Club started in 1910 so this is the clubs Centenary Year. The first nine holes (tourhnament holes 1, 2 and 13-18) were designed by Henry Burrows and opened in 1922. The next nine holes (tournament holes 3-12) were designed by HS Colt and opened in 1928. THe course underwent considerable alterations in 1954 and 1964 and has been revamped by Kyle Phillips in 2008/2009. THese alterations included new greens on holes 1, 3, 14, 15 and 18, new back tees on holes 1, 9, 13 and 14 and new fairway bunkers on holes 16 and 17.
