Tournament History

The European Tour returns to Australia for the first time since the 2009 Australian Masters with the Perth International Golf Championship being held at Lake Karrinyup CC, which itself holds a little piece of European Tour history thanks to Ernie Els. It was here in 2003 at the Johnnie Walker Classic that The Big Easy shot the lowest score to par in European Tour history – 29 under to be exact – which also ranks joint third for the lowest number of strokes ever taken in a Tour event.
