Special features - a lot of tee shots are elevated positions, dense vegitation and tree beyond the maintained rough
General playability - reasonably long at 7,300 yards, although elevation on tee shots does reduce their length
Undulating / flat - some notable changes in elevation on a number of holes
Tree lined / exposed - tree lined
Many / few water hazards - just a few but most notable on the feature holes, such as 15 and 18
Changes to the course - none since the World Cup was held here in 2009

Other features
- The course is one of 12 on the Mission Hills Donguang and adjoining Shenzhen property
- Some of the views from higher points of the property are quite spectacular
