Thomas Aiken was a model of consistency for the final round hitting 17/18 greens, signing off what must be the best tournament performance of his career to date (and his second European Tour victory). The 29 year old South African ranked 4th for the Genworth Driving Accuracy statistic and 2nd for Greens in Regulation, plus he led the Par 4 Scoring with a 3.73 average. Most notably though was the fact that Thomas made so few mistakes, with a total of 2 eagles and 21 birdies against just 2 bogeys for the entire week (and not a single dropped shot over the weekend). A world class performance.

The golfing career of Gaganjeet Bhullar is surely about to change following his superb final round of 64 for second place. Looking at his Genworth Tournament Statistics, the 24 year old golfer from India produced a long game master class over the week, ranking 3rd for Driving Accuracy, 8th for Driving Distance and 1st for Greens in Regulation (hitting 63/72 greens). He also steered clear of all greenside bunkers. You will be seeing a lot more of Gaganjeet Bhullar. He is a young player moving very much in the right direction.

An up and down final round of 69 for Wenchong Liang included a hole in one at the 7th, five birdies, nine pars, two bogeys and a double bogey. Over the week the 34 year old golfer from Zhongshan, China ranked 4th for the Genworth Driving Distance statistic (averaging 317 yards off the tee), but it was his short game which stood out the most. Wenchong ranked high for each of the Genworth Putting Statistics and Scrambled 16/21 times, including 5/6 from greenside bunkers. He also converted 24 birdies in total (only Seuk-hyun Baek converted more).
