Thorbjørn Olesen’s Masters Tournament debut continued to improve as the Dane signed for a third round 68 to return to level par.
The 23 year old, who won his maiden European Tour title in Sicily last year, shot 78 on hs first crack at Augusta National on Thursday.
An improved second round 70 saw him make the cut with nothing to spare, and Olesen was on the charge again today with four bogeys being cancelled out by six birdies and an eagle.
"I actually thought I played well on the first day, but I didn't figure out the greens the first day," Olesen said.
"I hit a few bad drives on the back nine and got really punished and made a few doubles there. But I feel like I've played really well (since) and hit a lot of good drives and made it easy for myself."
