•    His first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 16th European Tour event.

•    Moves to inside the top 150 in the Official World Golf Ranking, from 246th.

•    Beats his previous best European Tour performance of fourth in the 2013 Tshwane Open.

•    This victory is his third top ten finish from his seven events so far on The European Tour this season. Was also tied eighth in the Open de España.

•    Become the sixth first-time winner of the 2013 season. •    His victory comes in his maiden appearance in the Madeira Islands Open – Portugal – BPI.
