Thomas Bjorn made an eye-catching start to the Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity third round to move right into contention at the top of the leaderboard.
The Dane, who is in good form having finished in the top 10 in two of his previous three tournaments, has yet to break 70 this weekend but looked well on course to do just that in Austria today.
After reaching the turn two under for the day, Bjorn - part of two victorious Ryder Cup teams during his career - eagled the 12th and picked up further gains on three of the next four.
That moved him into a share of the lead with overnight leader Joost Luiten and Eduardo De La Riva, only for the latter to move one shot clear of the chasing pack with consecutive birdies.
Earlier, Sam Little had caught the eye by compiling seven birdies in a round of 66 which saw him muscle into the top five.
