The fourth round of the Genworth Challenge Series took place recently at the BMW International Open with Team TPF, representing the Tour Players Foundation, closing the gap on Team Genworth.

Genworth Ambassador Pablo Larrazábal joined forces with BMW International Open Tournament Director Marco Kaussler to form Team Genworth, whilst former Portugal Masters champion Tom Lewis and The European Tour’s Charity Executive, David Park, represented Team TPF on behalf of the Tour’s charitable arm.

Team TPF eventually claimed victory for the first time to reduce Team Genworth’s overall lead to 3-1.

However, the real winners were SOS Children’s Villages, who received €2,000 from the Genworth Foundation, thereby taking the total donations from the BMW International Open alone to €10,400.

The Challenge Series Final is due to take place at the Turkish Airlines Open from November 7-10.
