Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond met representatives from Ryder Cup Europe and Diageo when he visited Gleneagles during the second round of the Johnnie Walker Championship, 13 months ahead of the Perthshire venue host The 2014 Ryder Cup.

The First Minister was joined by Sandy Jones, Professional Golfers Association Chief Executive, Lord Macfarlane, the Honorary Life President of Diageo in Scotland, and Richard Hills, European Ryder Cup Director.
