This week European Tour Weekly travels to China for the second staging of the BMW Masters presented by SRE Group. ETW will be on the range at Lake Malaren Golf Club in Shanghai with the latest news and views from the players on the eve of the event.
As always European Tour Weekly will highlight the significant action from the most recent event on The European Tour. This week that means a trip to Australia for the ISPS HANDA Perth International at Lake Karrinyup CC.
Whilst in Australia ETW met up with 23 year old Jin Jeong who was born in South Korea but moved to Melbourne in 2006. In 2010 Jeong had two spells as the number one ranked amateur golfer on the back of four wins including The Amateur Championship, becoming the first Asian to win the title.
Genworth Financial are an important sponsor of The European Tour, and run Putts4Charity at various tournaments. To highlight the good work that the initiative does for children’s charities, ETW went along with Genworth Ambassador Pablo Larrazabal to one of the SOS Children’s Villages in Barcelona supported by Putts4Charity, which opened a year ago to see how it’s developed.
Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
