And that just about does it. Just when you thought golf could not get any more unpredictable a day like today comes along, confounding expectations and delighting the sporting world. What a spectacle we have been treated to in Kuala Lumpur this week at the inaugural EurAsia Cup and what a tournament this is and will continue to grow into in the future. 10 - Points apiece at close of play, meaning the inaugural edition of the EurAsia Cup was shared

327 - Holes of competition over 3 days as contest went down to the very last hole of the very last match

5 - Points Asia were down after day 1 fourball whitewash from Europe 

4 - The points deficit Team Asia faced heading into the Saturday singles

6 - Singles matches won by Asia on Sunday plus 2 halved games

7 - Shots under par Anirban Lahiri was through 17 holes in defeating Victor Dubuisson 2&1

3 - Eagles on day 3 including 2 from Lahiri at the 11th and 16th

4 - Holes Prayad Marksaeng was down to Jamie Donaldson through the turn before going on to claim half a point at the 18th

Jamie Donaldson and the formidable El Capitano Miguel Angel Jimenez were the top scorers in the first EurAsia Cup with two and a half points out of three. The only other undefeated player was Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano. On Team Asia, Kim, Lahiri and Siddikur jointly top scored with two points.
