The European Tour heads to the holiday island of Madeira this week for the Madeira Islands Open – Portugal-BPI, a tournament that features on both the Main Tour and The Challenge Tour schedules.  European Tour Weekly will be on the range at Clube de Golfer do Santo de Serra, the stunning Robert Trent Jones mountain-top design, for a preview of the event.

Last year young American Peter Uihlein claimed his maiden professional title in Madeira before going on to finish as the European Tour 2013 Rookie of the Year.  ETW speaks to Peter about his win and travels on the European tour.

Our review comes from The Championship in Singapore and we will have highlights of the action at Laguna National Golf & Country Club.

Spain’s Adrian Otaegui, who is mentored by Jose Maria Olazabal, is back on tour after graduating through the Challenge Tour rankings.  ETW caught up with the 21 year old, who was recently in contention on home soil at the NH Collection Open.
ETW also spent a day with the Murray’s,  father Andrew, who had an emotional win at the European Open in 1989 whilst suffering from Spondylitis and is now on the Seniors Tour, and son Tom, who played on the Challenge Tour last year.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
