This week European Tour Weekly comes from Pinehurst Resort, North Carolina as the world’s top golfers prepare for the second Major of the year, the US OPEN. ETW will be on the course getting the thoughts of the players on the eve of the tournament.

Defending his US OPEN crown will be Justin Rose and ETW caught up with him recently as he returned, with his trophy, to the North Hants Golf Club where he learnt to play the game. Rose will be looking to become the first player in 25 years to defend the title and he spoke to ETW about his emotional win 12 months ago.

Ian Poulter is one of the players hoping to replicate Justin Rose in breaking their Major Championship duck this week. Despite five top tens in the Majors Poulter has never managed a top ten finish at the US OPEN but will take hope from his close friend Rose’s win last year.

Our review comes from the Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity and ETW will bring you the best of the action from the Diamond Country Club in Austria.

It’s been a big week for The Senior Tour as well, as they gathered at The Stoke by Nayland Hotel, for the ISPS Handa PGA Seniors Championship, and ETW will bring you all the best action from the tournament.

And in what rounds off a busy week of action we will have all the news from Tecina Golf as The Challenge Tour visited the Canary Islands for the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
