Scott Jamieson took advantage of a disastrous double bogey from David Horsey to take the lead going into the closing holes of the M2M Russian Open at Tseleevo Golf & Polo Club.
A wayward tee shot led to England’s Horsey making a six and the 12th hole to sit on 11 under par on another beautifully sunny day.
Jamieson, three under for Sunday, of Scotland then made his sixth birdie of the day to sit a shot clear of Horsey and Damien McGrane on 12 under par.
Horsey has been around the top of the leaderboard all week but will now have to work hard for his third European Tour win.
Ireland’s McGrane is four under for the day, having holed four birdies and not dropped a shot.
