Garrick Porteous made the early moves as the second round of the inaugural Made in Denmark got under way.

The Englishman began with a solid, level par 71 as the tournament began in windy conditions yesterday.

Yet he was threatening far better as one of the early starters today, birdying 10, 11 and 12 - his opening three holes - to storm into contention.

A bogey on 14 undermined him, yet Porteous bounced back two holes later to get back to three under par approaching the turn.

Home favourite Thorbjørn Olesen was in a group a shot further back alongside the likes of Mikael Lundberg, David Drysdale, Daniel Im and Simon Wakefield - all of whom were enjoying solid days.
