So, day one is over at the inaugural D+D REAL Czech Masters and it is Ryder Cup hopeful Jamie Donaldson who is out front at the Albatross Golf Resort. As ever, here is a selection of some of the most interesting numbers flying about from the first round...

6 – under par leads the way for Jamie Donaldson after round one

– wins on The European Tour for Ryder Cup hopeful Donaldson in his career

6 – birdies in a row for Kenneth Ferrie at the start of his four under par 68

63 – birdies on the par five first and only 18 bogeys

8 – birdies for Donaldson in his round of 66

7 – birdies on his inward nine from Danny Willett

– cut missed by Willett in his last 20 events on The European Tour

70 – a two under par start for another player close to getting on Paul McGinley’s European Ryder Cup side, Stephen Gallacher 

– bogeys for John Hahn in his first round four under par 68

12 – was the easiest hole, the par five averaging just 4.46 and seeing only two bogeys all day

17 – was the toughest hole on day one – the 490-yard par four averaging 4.45

68 – for last week’s Made in Denmark runner-up Bradley Dredge in the first round in the Czech Republic
