Moving day at The South African Open Championship Hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni belonged to one man, Charl Schwartzel. Four opening birdies helped him card a fine 66, while there plenty of other low rounds from the field... 

13 – under par leads the way for Schwartzel heading into the final round

– birdies for the leader in his fine third round 66

9 – times Schwartzel has led going into the final round of a European Tour International Schedule event – he’s won on five of those occasions 

1 – shot lead held by the South African going into the final day of last year’s event – he eventually finished in a tie for fourth

– of Schwartzel’s nine European Tour wins have come in his home country, but he’s never won The South African Open Championship

65 – and low round of the week for Lee Slattery, who made seven birdies in his fine bogey-free round

74 – for Sullivan, who moved in the wrong direction on moving day

303 – yards was the average drive for Schwartzel

87 – per cent of the greens were found in regulation by Australian Jason Scrivener, who shot an impressive six under par 66

4 – the long par five proved the toughest on moving day, averaging 4.29

12 – was the easiest hole, the par four averaging 3.52
