What a day and what a story. Two wins in two starts. A new star is born? Congratulations Thomas Pieters. See you next week in Italy. Until then...

Last but not least, let's watch the story of the day.

But let's now hear from the man of the moment, our winner, Mr Thomas Pieters...

Safe to say it was Thomas Pieters' prodigious driving distance and putting that won him the KLM Open. The Belgian ranked second in driving distance and second in Putts per Round. How does that phrase go? Drive for dough, putt for dough?

15:15

Let's start wrapping things up by looking at some of the best bits of golf seen this week at Kennemer - and there's been a lot...

“I’m a bit surprised," says our champ Thomas Pieters. "Credit to Lee, who played well. I’m really happy with this one, it’s even better than this one. My next goal is the third one. I was confident. I teed it up to win and I did it. Next time I’ll do the same. I thought a really low one was needed. Missing that one for birdie on the first, I was really nervous. Then I got lucky on the third and kicked on from there.”

15:00

Wow, breathless stuff and you have to feel sorry for Lee Slattery too, as much as Thomas Pieters deserves this, the Englishman has played oh so well and narrowly misses out on a second win in a row himself. But it's the young Belgian, still just 23 years young, who claims the title in such impressive fashion - a closing 65 enough for that narrowest of triumphs. Well played that man. Stick around now as we start to wrap up a wonderful final day in the Netherlands. All the best interviews, highlights, stats and more to come.

14:50

Slattery bogeys the last to finish on -18, so Pieters claims his second European Tour title, just two weeks after winning his first. There's plenty of reaction to come so please welcome back Will Pearson who will talk you through it.

14:48

Slattery misses his par putt, so Thomas Pieters wins the 2015 KLM Open.

14:46

Slattery sends his 50 foot birdie putt at the last to within five feet of the hole. He needs this to take it to a play-off...

14:41

Slattery sends his approach shot to the edge of the green but he is a long way from the hole. He has two putts to save par at the last.

14:39

Slattery launches his tee shot at the last into the thick rough just beside the fairway. He doesn't have far to go to get onto the green, but this is not going to be easy for the Englishman.
