With this win - Thongchai Jaidee

Thongchai Jaidee overtakes Colin Montgomerie as the oldest player to win the Porsche European Open. the oldest winner of the Porsche European Open. This beats the previous record of Colin Montgomerie in 2007, who was 44 years and 15 days.

Graeme Storm deserves plenty of praise for the way he played today. The Englishman hung in there all-day and played some very good golf. He made life very tough for Jaidee, when others around him couldn't match the consistency of the Thai. So congrats on a strong week Mr. Storm!

Indeed Dave, and what a solid performance that was from Jaidee. The guy is a class act and one hell of a determined player. He never seems to get ahead of himself or too down on himself. And when he gets a sniff of victory, he takes it!
