Shubhankar Sharma fired a 65 to move to 20 under and hold a five-shot lead heading into Sunday at the Joburg Open.
Here, we take a look at what some of his nearest challengers had to say following their third rounds.
Christofer Blomstrand (62, -15)
"It's a really nice birthday present! I was really happy with my putter. I was hitting quite good shots in the beginning of my round and then I holed them as well. It was a good start and I just tried to keep going from there. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. It's really going to be fun. This is what I play for. My Sunshine Tour win was absolutely important in getting me here. After I won there, I tried to figure out what my schedule was going to be and then I understood that I was going to get into these events on the European Tour. So I played a few events down here, and then I played on the Challenge Tour, and then I got my European Tour card at Qualifying School. Of course it means a lot that there are Open Championship spots available here but we have to treat this like a normal event. We need to play well for all four rounds and then we can see what else is happening."
James Morrison (67, -14)
"Experience told me what I needed to do and to shoot, but you can't factor in the guy who shoots 62, or the guy who's seven under and pulling away. I stuck to my game-plan and we had four under par as my goal and I went one better than that. Can't wait for tomorrow, I've been here so many times before so I've got to draw on all my experience - losses and wins. The thought of getting into the Open enters my thinking massively. I've played three now and I've had two top-21 finishes there. I've played well at the Open when I've got in. I got knocked out of the Open last year here when Stuart Manley birdied the last so I've come for a little revenge. It's a nice goal to have away from actually trying to win the event itself. It's the best event in the world and until you've been there and played one - and I've been lucky enough to play three, and one at St Andrews too - you don't know what you're in for."
