The 2018 Masters will be the 82nd edition of the tournament. Each year since the tournament's inception, the event has been held at Augusta National Golf Club, Georgia. Jack Nicklaus has won six Masters titles, more than anybody else in the tournament's history.

There are 18 categories through which players can qualify, including past winners, the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking and previous winners of the other three Majors (on a five-year exemption). The tournament also extends invites to a number of amateurs, including the current US Amateur Champion and runner-up, British Amateur Champion, Asia-Pacific Amateur, US Mid-Amateur and the Latin American Amateur.
