World Number One Dustin Johnson made a huge move up the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational leaderboard on Sunday as the early starters proved there are good scores out there on the final day at Firestone Country Club.
Johnson, who began the day ten shots behind overnight leader Justin Thomas on four under par after Saturday's spotless 66, made six birdies in his first eight holes on day four to cut that gap to four before Thomas had even teed off.
That fast start lifted the American into a share of fourth place on ten under, one shot behind Jason Day, who opened his final round with a birdie to join Rory McIlroy on 11 under.
Charl Schwartzel also took a giant stride up the leaderboard earlier in the day after carding an eagle, six birdies and two bogeys in his final-round 63.
