General playability - Excellent test of golf, tough but fair
Undulating / flat - Generally flat with man-made mounds guarding the side of most holes
Tree lined / exposed - Exposed. Wind is always a factor at The Dutch.
Many / few water hazards - Water hazards in play on holes; 1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17 & 18.
Changes to the course - 1st fairway has been extended back 25 yards towards the tee.

- The course lays 3 metres under sea level. It settles / sinks 2-3 cm per year. For this reason, the fairways, semi-rough and immediate rough are top-dressed up to 2-3 cm every year.
- The Dutch was the venue for the Netherlands’ bid for the 2018 Ryder Cup and has hosted the KLM Open in 2016 & 2017 and the Dutch Masters (Staysure Tour) in 2018.
