Englishman won with 45 per cent of the public vote.
Lee Westwood has been voted Hilton Golfer of the Month for November after winning his first European Tour title in four years at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
The Englishman received 45 per cent of the public vote ahead of DP World Tour Championship winner and compatriot Danny Willett, who collected 35 per cent of the vote to claim second place.
Westwood was three shots off the lead ahead of the final day in South Africa but carded a bogey-free round of 64 to leap to the top of the leaderboard and claim one of the most significant triumphs of his long career.
A two-time winner at the Gary Player Country Club in 2010 and 2011 before the event joined the European Tour schedule, his experience at Sun City came to the fore with his first European Tour win since the 2014 Maybank Malaysian Open.
Willett, who finished second in the competition, also returned to winning ways in November as the Englishman clinched the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, Dubai trophy - and the final Rolex Series title of the 2018 campaign - 953 days after claiming the Masters Tournament title in 2016.
Justin Rose came third with 15 per cent of the public vote after defending his Turkish Airlines Open title following a play-off win in Antalya and with it returned to World Number One.
Meanwhile, the man he defeated to claim his second Rolex Series title, Li Haotong, came fourth in last month’s competition after narrowly missing out in Turkey, finishing tied fifth in South Africa and tied 30th in Dubai en route to a ninth place finish in the 2018 Race to Dubai.
