Federico Colombo took a narrow lead midway through the third round of the Saint-Omer Open presented by Neuflize OBC after reaching the turn in two under par.

The Italian moved to five under with four birdies and two bogeys in his opening nine holes, one shot ahead of South African George Coetzee, who was level par at the turn.

Englishman Lee Slattery was two under after 12 to reach three under overall, a score shared with Australian Matt Zions and Thomas Norret, both one under after ten holes, and Scotland’s Craig Lee, who slipped back with three consecutive early bogeys and was two over for the day at the halfway stage.

Italian Andrea Perrino, who was joint overnight leader with Lee, was four over par for a torrid front nine, one under par overall.
