Mark Foster claimed sole possession of the lead in the Alstom Open de France as the leaders got their final rounds underway at Le Golf National.
Foster, who led after three rounds of last week’s BMW International Open in Munich before finishing in a tie for third, parred his first two holes to remain at nine under par for the tournament.
That kept him one ahead of Scotland’s Richie Ramsay, but fellow overnight leader James Morrison had dropped to six under after starting bogey, double bogey today.
World Number Four Martin Kaymer also double bogeyed the second hole to slip back to four under, while home favourite Thomas Levet followed an opening birdie with back-to-back bogeys, leaving him alongside Thorbjørn Olesen on five under.
