This week European Tour Weekly will preview the Dubai World Championship presented by DP World where the top 60 players in The Race to Dubai will battle it out for a prize fund of US$7,500,000. As always ETW will be on the range at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai with all the latest thoughts from the players on the eve of the event.

All eyes in Dubai will be focused on World Number One Luke Donald. ETW catch up with Donald who is on the brink of creating history by winning both the US and European money lists. Donald speaks to ETW about his season which had seen him win three times on The European Tour.

Last week The European Tour was in Hong Kong for the UBS Hong Kong Open. As always ETW will highlight all the significant moments from Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling.

Whilst in Hong Kong ETW took Justin Rose to the races at Happy Valley where there was a European Tour sponsored race. Rose’s form has picked up recently after a fairly disappointing season on The European Tour, enjoying top ten finishes at the WGC – HSBC Champions and the Barclays Singapore Open as well as a runners-up spot at the OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup alongside close friend Ian Poulter.

With the 2011 season almost over European Tour Weekly spoke to George O’Grady, Chief Executive of The European Tour, to hear his thoughts on a year which has been another highly successful one for European golf.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
