A 45-foot birdie putt on the second extra hole saw Titleist Brand Ambassador Bill Haas complete a stunning six-win weekend for Titleist golf balls. Haas was one of four Titleist Brand Ambassadors to enter the winner’s circle this past weekend and was joined by two other Titleist golf ball loyalists claiming victories around the world. Haas, the reigning FedEx Cup champion, closed with a two-under par 69 at the Northern Trust Open before prevailing in a three man play-off to claim his first title of 2012 and fourth career PGA Tour success. His victory followed hot on the heels of full line Titleist player Jbe Kruger, who emerged victorious at the European Tour’s Avantha Masters in New Delhi, India. Titleist’s stunning winning weekend was rounded out by Titleist Brand Ambassadors Oliver Bekker and Gareth Paddison, who tasted success on the South African and Australasian Tours respectively, and Titleist golf ball loyalists Yani Tseng (Pro V1x) and Kenny Perry (Pro V1x) who won their respective events on the LPGA and Champions Tours.

On the European Tour, Jbe Kruger trusted a host of Titleist equipment en route to winning his first career European Tour title, including the Pro V1x golf ball, 910D3 driver, 910F fairway, 910H hybrid, AP2 irons and Vokey Design SM4 approach, sand and lob wedges. Kruger’s final round 69 was enough for a two shot victory over two players, including fellow Pro V1x loyalist Marcel Siem. As well as being the choice of the champion in New Delhi, Titleist golf balls were also the overwhelming choice of the field, with 87 players putting their trust in the feel and precision of the Pro V1 franchise, compared to 17 for the nearest competitor.

On the PGA Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Bill Haas made birdie at the second play-off hole to record a dramatic victory with his full bag of Titleist equipment. Trusting Titleist from tee-to-green, Haas’ bag included the Pro V1x golf ball, 910D2 driver, 910F fairway, CB irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled sand and lob wedges and Scotty Cameron Kombi long putter. The win marks the third consecutive season that Haas has won on the PGA Tour and advances him to #12 in the Official World Golf Rankings. Titleist golf balls were the overwhelming choice of the field on the PGA Tour with 94 players compared to 17 for the nearest competitor. The feel and precision of Titleist equipment also saw the majority of the field put their trust in Titleist irons, wedges and putters.

Elsewhere, on the South African Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Oliver Bekker (Pro V1x) captured his maiden Sunshine Tour victory at the Dimension Data Pro-Am. Bekker topped an all-Titleist golf ball top-three after firing a two-under par final round to post a 13-under par total. On the Australasian Tour, Titleist Brand Ambassador Gareth Paddison (Pro V1) won the Victorian PGA Championship ahead of Titleist Pro V1x loyalist Leighton Lyle. On the LPGA Tour, World #1 Yani Tseng (Pro V1x) defended her Honda LPGA Thailand title for the 13th LPGA Tour win of her illustrious career. Tseng birdied her final two holes to record a one shot victory and lift the 33rd title of her professional career. Pro V1x loyalist Kenny Perry completed Titleist’s stunning six-win weekend, capturing the ACE Group Classic on the Champions Tour. These wins take Titleist’s 2012 worldwide golf ball win count to 19, compared to 3 for the nearest competitor.

A maiden European Tour title for Titleist Brand Ambassador Jbe Kruger, as well a fourth PGA Tour win for Titleist Brand Ambassador Bill Haas and further wins around the world for Titleist loyalists, continues to prove that the world’s best players opt for the matchless performance of Titleist for their success.
