Korea is the destination for The European Tour this week as for the second year running the Ballantine’s Championship comes from Blackstone Golf Club in Icheon. As usual, ETW will be on the range getting the thoughts of the players as they prepare for the final leg of the three-week South East Asia swing.
Its’ been ten years since Adam Scott last played in Korea. The Australian has been in and around the top ten in the world for a number of years now, and tells us why he’s back playing in Korea and how his year is panning out so far.
Another taking part is Oliver Wilson. Wilson has had a difficult two years with illness and a lack of form culminating with the loss of his Tour card at the end of 2011. He invited ETW into his home to talk about what happened and why the future is looking so positive.
This week’s review comes from the Volvo China Open where taking part was the youngest ever entrant in a European Tour event and we will see how Guan Tian-Lang and the rest of the field got on.
Chinese hopes rested with Liang Weng-Chong and we caught up with the former Clariden Leu Singapore Open winner on the eve of the tournament.
