This week European Tour Weekly travels to Austria for the 22nd staging of the Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity.  Last year Kenneth Ferrie overcame Simon Wakefield in a playoff at the Diamond Country Club and ETW will once again be on the range of this scenic venue with the latest views and thoughts from the players on the eve of this event.

We look back at The Open Championship from Royal Lytham & St Annes and see how the world’s best fared over the testing links course. ETW brings you highlights from the 141st Open Championship and will be catching up with the winner of the Claret Jug.

At Royal Lytham & St Annes ETW met up with Warren Bennett, who was one of the most surprising names to find on the entry list. Bennett won the Silver Medal as leading amateur in The Open Championship at Turnberry in 1994, but his professional career that followed was plagued by injury before he was forced to retire from professional golf in 2009. He went on to caddy for Bernd Wiesberger and Trish Johnson before trying his luck at this year’s Local Final Qualifying at Hillside Golf Club where two rounds of 68 saw him take one of three places available.

European Tour Weekly takes a look ahead to The Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex which this year is being played at Turnberry. ETW caught up with one of the favorites for the title, England’s Roger Chapman, who has enjoyed a remarkable run of form that has seen him win both the US Senior PGA Championship and US Senior Open Championship.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
