This week European Tour Weekly is on site at Gleneagles to preview the Johnnie Walker Championship, the final qualifying event for the European Ryder Cup team. We bring you all the latest from the movers and shakers trying to edge their way into an automatic spot or hoping to catch Captain Jose Maria Olazabal’s eye for a wild-card selection.

Last year’s Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles saw Thomas Bjorn come through an exhausting five-man play-off, eventually seeing off George Coetzee to claim his twelfth European Tour title. ETW met up with Bjorn to hear about his win last year and his hopes ahead of this week’s event.

Rory Mcllroy recently won his second Major title with his stunning eight shot triumph at the US PGA CHAMPIONSHIP at Kiawah Island. Mcllroy has put a lot of his success down to his team around him and ETW met up with one of those, fitness guru Steve McGregor.

ETW bring comprehensive reviews of the SSE Scottish Senior Open from Fairmont St. Andrews, as well as the Challenge Tour’s ECCO Tour Championship in Denmark.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour, this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
