• Branden Grace and Joel Sjöholm lead the scoring on the Par 3 holes after three rounds, each with 23 strokes in total over the nine Par 3 holes (average 2.56 and -4 in relation to par).
• Stephen Gallacher's third round 65 at Kingsbarns shot him up the leaderboard eighteen places to tied fifth on -14. He now ranks first in the field for the Genworth Par 4 Scoring statistic with a 3.69 average (-11 in relation to par). James Kingston and Fredrik Andersson Hed sit just behind on 3.72 average.
• Thorbjørn Olesen continued to smash the Par 5 holes through his third round. He is now -10 for nine Par 5 holes played (average of 3.89 for Par 5 Scoring). Branden Grace follows in second place on -8 for the Par 5 holes (4.11 average). We know where the leaders are making their scores!

• Achieving a high ranking in the Genworth Driving Accuracy statistic has not been vital this week, what with the low rough Pro-Am format and generous St Andrews fairways. Andreas Hartø leads the way with 91.1% fairways hit, but has unfortunately still missed the cut. The leader Branden Grace ranks all the way down in 110th place with 64.4% fairways hit, proving the point.
• Chris Wood has hit the most greens so far, 51 of 54 (94.4%). Leader Branden Grace ranks 14th in the Genworth Greens in Reg statistic, 46 of 54 (85.2%). A mention should be given to Emiliano Grillo here, hitting 17 out of 18 greens on route to his third round 67 at Carnoustie, which has moved him 54 places up the leaderboard to -10.
• Alexander Noren has the hot blade. He leads the Genworth Putts per Round statistic with just 81 putts over the three rounds (that's just 27.00 putts per round).

Due to the three course format, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship leaderboard only reflects the true leaders once the third round has finished and everyone has passed through all three courses. As usual Carnoustie has played toughest all week. Look for low scoring at St Andrews in the final round with a favourable weather forecast predicted.
