This week European Tour Weekly travels to Australia for the inaugural ISPS HANDA Perth International. ETW will be on the range at Lake Karrinyup Country Club in Western Australia with the latest news and views from the players on the eve of the event.

In Perth, ETW meet up with local favourite Brett Rumford. Attached to Royal Perth Golf Club Rumford will be looking to win for the first time in five years on The European Tour. Currently placed inside the top sixty on The Race to Dubai his best finish of the season was his runners-up spot at the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.

As always European Tour Weekly will highlight the significant action from the most recent event on The European Tour. This week that means a return trip to Vilamoura for the Portugal Masters.

Whilst in Portugal ETW were on board as several players took part in the ‘Ocean Shot Challenge’. The task was to hit a glass replica of the Portugal Masters trophy which was 150 yards away in the Atlantic Ocean. Two of the players involved were defending champion Tom Lewis and Europe’s victorious Ryder Cup captain José María Olazábal.

Together with all of the latest news and statistics from the Tour this completes another edition of European Tour Weekly.
