MasterCard becomes Official Partner at the UBS Hong Kong Open

MasterCard Worldwide will bring its considerable presence to next week’s UBS Hong Kong Open after signing a two-year deal to become an Official Partner of the event.

One of the payments industry’s global leaders, MasterCard joins forces with a truly prestigious tournament which was first played in 1959 and became part of The European Tour International Schedule for the 2002 season (November 2001).

Led by World Number One Rory McIlroy, the Hong Kong Golf Club will yet again host a star-studded field next week as some of the finest players in the sport contest the penultimate event in The 2012 Race to Dubai.

MasterCard is offering fans the opportunity to get closer to the action by providing exclusive discounts for cardholders. By purchasing any general admission ticket with a MasterCard card, you can enjoy a 20% discount off the regular price from now until the end of the tournament.

MasterCard will continue to deliver increased value at the tournament itself, providing fans with the best way to experience the tournament. MasterCard cardholders will be able to enjoy special discounts at F&B outlets, “spend and receive” promotions and exclusive surprise upgrades when they visit the MasterCard booth during the tournament.
