Looking at Branden's Genworth Statistics for his most recent 20 rounds, he is tending to play the Par 4 holes very well, but is a little inconsistent on the Par 3 and Par 5 holes. Like St Andrews, Royal Durban has an abundance of Par 4's which may play into his hands.

Long hitting George is very much the man in form. His Genworth Statistics show no real weaknesses. Just look at how many Par 5 holes he hits in two. Off the back of a 2nd place finish last time out in his homeland, it will be interesting to see how he fares over the shorter Royal Durban layout.

Thomas is very straight off the tee and hits lots of greens. Looking at his Genworth Statistics the Royal Durban layout seems to play right into his hands. He is most definitely a Par 4 specialist of late, and with only two short Par 5 holes to contend with, his Par 5 Scoring should start to improve.

The Genworth Ambassador's game is in good shape. He either needs to be a little more aggressive with his approach play or he just needs to hole a few more putts (it's not often you get to say that about a Spanish player). Again as a Par 4 specialist of late, don't be surprised to see him up there at the end.

As one of the shorter hitters on tour Royal Durban should serve Peter well. Looking at his recent Genworth Statistics, his Driving Accuracy on the Par 4 holes is much better than on the Par 5 holes. A common trend where players seem to open their shoulders on the Par 5's for that little extra length. The question is does it help?

Scott's Genworth Statistics are heavily distorted by a few poor results in Singapore and Hong Kong, when he was playing with the added pressure of trying to qualify for the big one in Dubai. Don't be fooled, he is at the top of his game, making lots of eagles and birdies, and hitting lots of Par 5 holes in two.
